Fractal eXtreme Zoom Movie's are created exclusively by Fractal eXtreme. To create your own fractal zoom movies suitable for publishing on the web, or playing on your desktop, you can download a free trial version of Fractal eXtreme, probably the fastest, funnest, and easiest to use fractal exploration program available for Windows.

The Zoom Movie plug-in works with Netscape Navigator 3.0, Netscape Communicator, and Internet Explorer 4.0. We currently only have versions for Windows.

To install the Fractal eXtreme Zoom Movie Player Plug-in, you need to download the installer which will make it easy for you to install the plug-in (npfxmplugin.dll) to the appropriate directory(s) for your web browser(s).

With Netscape Navigator you can verify that the plug-in is installed correctly (you will have to exit your browser and restart it) by going to the help menu and select 'About Plug-ins'. The FXMovie Player should be listed.

If you have the old stand alone Zoom Movie Player then you may want to download the new 1.30 version, as previous versions can't play the new zoom movie format with its added compression.
